A large tan coloured leather case, curved to fit neatly against the body. The closing strap and shoulder strap are replacements.
It is lined in cream doeskin and has an internal partition.
Inside there is a curved glass flask, with a plated bayonet or captured cap.
There is also a curved sandwich tin, stamped on the outside of its lid "Swaine & Adeney Ltd., London".
In Swaine's 1933 catalogue these cost 9 pounds and 9 shillings - depending on which index used that would be either £480 or £1800 today.
