A dark tan leather sidesaddle canteen, the saddle and girth straps are in good condition, one has been repaired at the back and the D-ring for the girth strap is a replacement. The case has a piece of sheepskin stitched to its back. The case is lined in doeskin and it has an internal partition.
There is a plated, double hinged sandwich tin, stamped "Swaine & Adeney, London". There is a rectangular section glass flask with a bayonet or captured cap, also stamped "Swaine & Adeney".
