Rare "Piggyback" Sidesaddle Canteen, containing Flask and Sandwich Tin
A leather case in mahogany coloured leather. It has good saddle and girth straps, with steel buckles and D ring. It has a leather covered interior partition.
The case is lined in doeskin and it has an internal partition. It fastens with a billet
There is a curved plated sandwich tin, with a single hinge. It is stamped "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield", there is a little pitting along the hinge.
There is a curved plated flask with a screw top.
