I would really llike to know more about this bit. It is hand-forged in steel with inlaid brass diamonds, crosses and bands. I have seen a similar inlaid diamond pattern on a Western bridle, but I am not sure of the origin or age of this bit. It has two jointed mouthpieces, each with a central link. One of the mouthpieces has four cherry rollers on each side. There are no makers marks on this bit, it has a little surface rust, but is generally in excellent condition. Dimensions : Width including bit rings 230mm (9 ") x height of bit rings and pivoting cheekpieces 105mm (4 1/8 ")
