Brazilian Military Horse Bit
Probably military, a swan or branch cheeked bit with a low port and a curved slobber or shackle bar. It is made of steel and has flat, circular curb hooks. Each cheek is decorated with a silver plated circular boss bearing a Brazilian emblem. Some detail of the writing on each boss has been rubbed away by polishing over time. On of the cheeks has a crack in the arm
