This is a not-quite matching pair of very small mullen-mouthed curb bits. They appear to be made of steel or iron and plated in tin (?) . I cannot see any maker's stamps. They have short cheeks, one has integral rein loops, the other, separate. One still has its original tinned curb chain . Possibly French? Dimensions Mouths 4” (100mm) , cheeks of one 4” (100mm) and the other 4¼” (110mm) Ref : Bit167 |
