An Antique Bicycle Chain Snaffle
The mouthpiece of this steel bit is made of five links. They are serrated on one side, which would make this a rather severe bit. The links can all move in relation to each other.
It has round cheek rings. I cannot find any makers' marks or stamps. It is probably 19th century.
