A Fine Twisted Snaffle or Bridoon
An antique burnished steel bit. A rather delicate bit in appearance, either a jointed snaffle or a bradoon for use in a double bridle.
It has small bit rings. On close inspection one can see the laminar lines in the steel where it has been hand-twisted. There are no makers marks or stamps
