Meaning eye-pieces, these are made of tooled leather with silver decoration. They would be used by gauchos in South America as a browband on their horses.
The eyepieces could be pulled down when necessary to act as blinkers or a blindfold. The central silver pendant depicts a lion, two fish and a bird - these are probably some sort of good luck charm.
