This saddle consists of two rawhide and tooled leather pads tied together with rawhide. A cinch or girth would have tied around the outside of the saddle to hold it in place. It would have been used with blankets and/or skins underneath it and on top to act as padding. Each panel is decorated with two silver plated stars Ref : saddle026 |
