A single steel spur. Both arms and both sides of the neck have decorated silver inlay. There is a swinging button on each arm. The spur appears to be of two piece construction, with a dropped neck. There is a curled chap guard - possibly an early "bottle opener" chapguard. The rowel is pierced and decorated with silver inlay. On one side of the rowel there is a steel loop which could have been used to attach jingle-bobs or pajados.
There are no stamps or maker's marks that I can see. There is a little surface oxidation on this spur, but it is in good general condition.
