Antique California Spur

A single steel spur. Both arms and both sides of the neck have decorated silver inlay. There is a swinging button on each arm. The spur appears to be of two piece construction, with a dropped neck. There is a curled chap guard - possibly an early "bottle opener" chapguard. The rowel is pierced and decorated with silver inlay. On one side of the rowel there is a steel loop which could have been used to attach jingle-bobs or pajados. There are no stamps or maker's marks that I can see. There is a little surface oxidation on this spur, but it is in good general condition.

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (in this case special delivery with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
