Pair of Iberian Spurs
A pair of small (?child's?) silver Brazilian spurs .
These spurs are decorated with a leaf pattern. Each arm has a ring, on on side there are two swinging buttons and on the other a button and a buckle. There is a small heelplate with two holes – possibly for tie-downs. The spurs have small, multi-pointed rowels. Each is stamped “Laprat. Eberle 108”. Eberle were well known silversmiths in Brazil in the late nineteenth / early 20th century, specializing in plateria criolla & plateria rurale.
