Old Gaucho Spur
An ornate spur made of a white metal (probably a nickel alloy). Such spurs are called "Nazarenas", because their rowel resembles a crown of thorns. The rowel is made of steel, which has oxidised on its surface. It is held between two thin metal discs, which make a ringing sound when the spur moves.
The neck is curved in the form of a flower. The heel bands have some raised bands on them, one ends in a loop and two swinging buttons, the other in a loop and a button and buckle. On chain remains.
