Eberle Silver Spur
I really wish that I had the pair to this spur. It was made by Eberle, a well known Brazilian silversmiths company active from the late 19th to mid 20th century.
It is stamped "Laprat.Eberle 90" - meaning La Prataria Eberle & silver that is 90% pure. Both arms of the spur are decorated and overlaid with a gold metal. There is a button on the end of each arm, a buckle hangs from one side.
There is a small heelplate modelled as a flower, this is pierced for the attachment of chains. There is a short neck and a sharp revolving rowel.
Internal width 6.2cm (approx 2½"), neck 4cm (1½"), rowel 3.2cm (1¼")
