Early Lancer's Stirrup

A single stirrup. This is hand wrought in steel. It is much heavier in construction than other cavalry stirrups I have seen - it is probably earlier, late 18th or early 19th century. The stirrup is of hussar or cradle pattern. The steel has a fantastic old patina. There are no marks or stamps visible. One arm of the arch has two slots in it, passing in different directions - probably for support for a lance bucket.

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (in this case First Class recorded with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
