Iron or steel British Cavalry stirrup, of cradle or Hussar pattern. There is some surface oxidation otherwise it is in excellent condition. No stamps are visible. One side of the arch has a loop forged into it - this was for the attachment of a leather lance bucket. I am not sure of the date of this stirrup. Dimensions : 5¾"
