This stirrup is not stamped or marked, it is made of brass. It is probably nineteenth Century and South American. Such slipper stirrups were used by women riding sidesaddle. The edge of the toe of this example is scalloped & the footplate is pierced. There are two holes drilled into the footplate where it has been mounted on a wall.
