Antique Moorish or Spanish Stirrups
These Arab / Moorish stirrups are hand forged in steel. They are probably 18th Century. Both have intricate patterns of inlaid silver wire decoration (damascened), geometric on one side of each stirrup and foliate on the other.
In places the wire is lifting or has lifted off.
Dimensions : each measures 6" (150mm) x 5¼" (135mm) x 8" (200mm)
Weight - approx 2lb 10½oz (1.2kg) the pair
