An early French stirrup

A handforged oval steel stirrup with incised decoration on its arch. This stirrup has a swivelling slot for the stirrup leather. The tread is round, the arms of the arch extend beyond the tread. This is an old design, the stirrup is likely to be 17th or 18th Century. It came from France.

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (in this case Special Delivery with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
