A Pair of Decorated Brass Stirrups
A pair of antique brass stirrups. They have a good patina with cast and pierced foliate decoration on their sides and footplates. Their suspension loops are attached at an angle
They are quite small and delicate, perhaps they were made for a child, or a lady - although most women of the time would have ridden sidesaddle, so would only have needed one stirrup, not a pair.
