A Pair of Old Wooden Portuguese Stirrups or Estribos de Caixa

This is a pair of Portuguese Estribos de Caixa - Box or Body Stirrups.
Each of these stirrups is constructed in wood, there are many old woodworm holes, but the wood has been treated & the woodworm is long dead.
The fronts are covered with a sheet of brass and decorated with a crest with a crown - presumably linked to a royal household

Each stirrup has a brass band around its centre which holds a suspension loop.

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (in this case first class with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
