This whip has an ivory handle carved in a geometric pattern, there are two small cracks in the bottom end of the ivory - I have tried to show one in a photograph. The whip also has a white metal (probably silver) collar with stamped floral decoration. It is probably 19th Century & from India. The stock is covered in braided material and it has a small open leather keeper. Length : 25 1/4" (64cm) Ref : whip032 |
