1871 Gents Hunting Whip
This hunting whip or crop has a translucent horn handle (possibly rhino horn). It has a silver collar, with a makers stamp "W.S & S" and hallmarked Birmingham 1898. The collar has floral decoration and a blank cartouche. The whip has a long, fine red-gold coloured cane stock or shaft. It is waiting for a new keeper.
