1888 Brigg Ladies Hunting Whip
This whip has a staghorn handle. It has a long sterling silver collar which bears the hallmark for London 1888. The silver is stamped "Brigg". It is engraved "M.E.Bright, 15 Pembridge Place"
The stock or shaft of the whip made of segmented cane, this has been smoked to give a marbled appearance - this treatment of cane was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
There is a replacement stitched keeper in bridle leather
