Ivory Handled Sidesaddle Whip
This very flexible sidesaddle whip has an ivory handle in the form of a clenched fist. The fist has two threaded holes in it and would have carried a rod – a motif used in many coats of arms. There are acorn shaped carved ivory collars. The handle and shaft are covered in brown braiding, the whip end is a little frayed
