Hunting Whip
This whip has a staghorn handle with a crown screw or gatepusher in its top. It has a silver collar, stamped with the silversmiths mark "W.B" and hallmarked London 1916. It is engraved "C.S.B. from R.H.D.T. 31.8.18". There are some dents and a scratch on the collar.
The stock or shaft is covered in good braided leather. There is a replacement open keeper. The new binding holding the keeper is in good order, if a little pale for my taste, personally I would stain it but it will tone down with use.
