1930 Gents Hunting Whip by Zair
This whip has a staghorn handle. There is a silver button in the horn, stamped "Zair, Makers".
It has a silver collar hallmarked Birmingham 1930, stamped "G&J.Z", "Steel lined" & engraved "J.C.Wardell, Hull, 4th Nov 1930".
The collar has thick rolled edges.
The stock or shaft is covered in braided leather in good condition. It has a good stitched keeper. There is a thong waiting for a repair to its end.
