Vintage Swaine Hunting Crop

This hunting whip has a staghorn handle. There is a 1cm long shallow crack in one side of the handle - there is no movement in the horn. It has a silver collar with thick ribs, it is hallmarked but the hallmark is too rubbed to read, it is also stamped "Swaine". The collar is bashed on one side.

The stock or shaft has been re-covered in dark leather. There is a small tear near the top of the leather - this could be glued down, or the whip could be re-covered again. There is an open keeper.
