An unusual whip - just the thing for a rider with a poor sense of direction.
This whip has a staghorn grip. It has two silver mounts, the upper one is hallmarked Sheffield 1889 and houses a small compass. The compass has a gilt face and still works accurately.
The shaft or stock is fairly rigid, it is covered in braided linen and dark laquer. The multi-part lash is a replacement, I may have it replaced with a more authentic silk lask or leather keeper.
Dimensions : 22½" (57cm) without lash
Ref : whip622
