A Vintage Slim Cane Hunting Whip or Crop - Sold
This long slim whip dates from the early to mid 20th Century.
It has a fine staghorn handle with a raised "gatepusher" section.
It has a nickel collar with a few small dents in it.
The slim shaft or stock is made of cane, it is painted brown. The paint has worn off in places. It could be re-painted or completely stripped off & the cane re-varnished.
There is a leather loop or open keeper at the end of the whip, this is a little rubbed and worn
This whip could be used today or would look good on display
