This catalog was produced by W.Overton of Walsall Overton & Co took over the business of Thomas Newton in 1872. It has an rather battered soft cover with an advert for "Argent" metal lorinery on the back cover. The cover is torn on the spine. The catalogue has 115 pages of illustrations, including many in colour and a few early photographs. The plates show harness, saddles, bridles, whips, bits , horse boots, rugs, blankets as well as stable, saddlery and veterinary equipment An illustration of a cart saddle has been cut out of the catalogue on plate 123 - presumably used to place an order There are also separate colourful advertisements in the back of the book.
