They are silver coloured, probably nickel plated. The necks are straight, there are decorative incised or stamped screw heads in each arm. The spurs have round rowels with a star pattern. The necks are stamped "Maxwell" The spurs have steel inserts that fit into the heels of the boots These inserts are stamped "Left" and "Right" and "Piccadilly, London"
